Samlingen is a creative collective, a group of producers and a cultural concept based in Uppsala. Together they have created clubs, parties, remixes and original tracks with passion, ambition and enthusiasm since 2008, when Johan Östman promoted the first techno-oriented club night called Samlingen. This night became a creative spark in a city where the club climate was rather gloomy at the moment, and where genuine passion for music seemed all too scarce. The club grew and switched venues, new faces arrived and the musical profile was broadened. After a hectic spring season a loose collective was taking shape and Samlingen was already making a solid impression on the Uppsala club scene. Since then parties, clubs and gigs have emerged regularly, with bookings like Riva Starr, Andreas Tilliander, Skudge, Per Hammar and the Subliminal Kid. Ambitions and confidence have both grown stronger and the ever increasing crowds are testament to their success!
