Real time procedural texturing is ready for use today. Procedural texturing has been a very successful artistic tool in the animation industry and won an Academy award. With recent developments in programmable GPU hardware, procedural shading has become easy to use and fast enough for real time content. I will be showing an number of small, open source demos using recent research results from myself and others, running well on a low cost laptop.
